Retaliatory Eviction Act

Protects renters who make valid complaints.

The Retaliatory Eviction Act says that a landlord cannot terminate a lease (or refuse to renew a lease) because the renter complained to a governmental authority of a bona fide violation of a building code, health ordinance, or similar regulation.
