Development Director Cheryl Lawrence was previously with LCBH as a staff attorney in the TFIP project, served as pro bono coordinator and also handled fair housing cases. Cheryl spent several semesters studying fair housing law at the John Marshall Law School, where she obtained her J.D. She interned with HUD in the Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity department and was a PILI intern at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago. Prior to law school, Cheryl spent many years in sales and marketing. She also spent a significant amount of time planning and participating in fundraising events.
